Nestled in the heart of Woombye Village on the Sunshine Coast, Woombye Childcare Nature Kindergarten is a unique, community-focused early learning environment for children, families, educators and the wider community.

 

Family owned and operated by the Canty family since 2002, WCK has proudly remained at the forefront of contemporary early childhood philosophy and practice for nearly 24 years. Grounded in current research and innovative approaches, we continue to deliver Exceeding educational programs that support children and families both locally and beyond. WCK was the first service in the region to develop and implement our much-loved Bush Kindy and Greenhouse Farm Kindy programs.

 

Learning and growing at WCK fosters values of respect, kindness, care, consideration and empathy. Our aim is to nurture confident, creative, lifelong learners — children who are kind, resilient, critical thinkers and able to adapt in a rapidly changing world.

 

Children are offered rich, real and authentic experiences that help them make sense of the world and their place within it. Our WCK Explorers participate in community-based programs including Bush Kindy, Farm Kindy and Walking Woombye. Families may choose whole-day Bush Kindy or Farm Kindy alongside our centre-based program, providing flexibility while maintaining strong continuity of learning.

 

We are open from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
